Oh, how I wish I could turn back time,
To when you were fit, Meg, and in your prime,
To fun chasing balls and creatures with wings,
And all kinds of creepy crawly things.
To times you could effortlessly leap
Onto the sofa and fall asleep.
To times when you would cuddle me in bed
And I could stroke your soft, velvet head.
But now things are different, you are showing your age,
i see the light in your eyesis now starting to fade.
Please don't leave me, I'm not ready yet,
For that awful, final call to the vet,
For now we are two old ladies doing fine,
