On the Pawsitively Terriers Forum we believe in kindness and courtesy which principals we extend to our dogs. We promote training through patience, repetition and reinforcement.
Reinforcers are many and varied and may include food, toys, play, praise, petting or any combination of these.
We don’t permit members to recommend the use of punishments (aversives) such as shouting, yanking on leads, hitting, or the use of any equipment which my hurt our pups.
The priority for anyone posting in this Forum should be the physical and mental wellbeing of their dogs.
